One thing that enrages me about both Massachusetts license plates and Connecticut plates is that they both feature patently false claims.Massachusetts plates say "The Spirit of America" which may have been true once but is no longer.More like "The Spirit of North Korea" I'd say.Connecticut plates read "Constitution State" which, given the states clear contempt for the Second Amendment is also patently false.

Two states willfully engaged in false advertising.

Well, “Constitution State” ought to be given to Delaware.

However, they have appropriate motto:
“First State”.

Ceasar Rodney rode some 80 miles, in the rain, to reach Independence Hall and ensure Delaware was the 1st state ratifying the Constitution.

George Reed of course was another signer.

You have to visit his home.

Beautiful red brick, stupendous lawn and an awesome view looking at the “Strand” or Delaware River.
