I’m afraid it is though. Breaking up Britain would damage our standing and influence on the world stage and send us all into recession. Besides, I’m rather attached to our union and I have family living up there.
I also have business interests that would increase my costs to trading with my Scottish customers thanks to the loss of a common postal service, tariffs that will be brought in to recoup the defaulted debt that Salmond has sworn to do if he doesn’t keep access to the UK national credit card, in addition to the Scots being being poorer and more likely to resent English businesses thanks to the butt pounding Scotland is going to get in the independence negotiations because iScotland won’t have as many cards to play as Salmond has been telling the Scottish people he will have over us.
