Shocking Video!!! This week the news and sports media, on behalf of those who need help with two plus two, revealed there are two kinds of domestic violence: The not-too-bad, the kind described only in words and a cost-you-only-two-games video of a woman being dragged from an elevator, and
The shocking, throw-the-bum-out kind, as seen in this weeks inside-the-elevator, what-happened-in-Atlantic City-didnt-quite-stay-there Ray Rice video. Some of us, however, know better than to be shocked by common sense. After all, how else did the soon-to-be Mrs. Rice, as seen months ago in the first surveillance video, become unconscious, left for Mr. Rice to drag her from the elevator, if she hadnt been cold-cocked admittedly by the other person in the elevator?

“the NFL says that a quarter of all their players will end up with brain issues later in life”
Strange considering that half have brain issues early in life.
” In the case of Donald Sterling, the recording of his conversation was illegal.”
Donald Sterling made the recording ...
“I think the prosecutor would have a tough time getting a conviction.”
The prosecutor’s work is already finished. Rice is on probation. There will be no trial of the century.
“It also looks like she may have hit her head on the steel rail after being slapped/punched.”
MJK was alone and driving the car when she went off the bridge?
Yes she hit her head on the rail, and that is what knocked her out. That has been reported. It has also been reported that yes, he connected his punch and hit her.
They were both arrested for domestic violence, but only Rice was prosecuted. So yes they were both fighting. But here’s the difference - her slaps and spits have no possibility of killing Rice. Rice darn near killed her...because he’s much, much stronger than her.
Outside of the public eye, this case seems to have on track for a normal outcome - probation for Rice. So no he’s not the devil incarnate...but it really doesn’t matter if she ‘started it’ - he really could have killed her. Thus he was the one put on probation and not her.
A 212 pound professional football player in top physical shape honed by an exercise regimen including weight training knocks out a 115 pound drunk woman with his fist. Is that proportional to the threat posed by this woman? Get real.
I used to use the analogy of a person claiming a caged bear is dangerous, even though it appears docile. So they poke it with a cattle prod until it finally growls and slaps the prod away, at which point they exclaim, “SEE?! I TOLD YOU IT WAS DANGEROUS!”
I got news for these people. Humans are the most dangerous animal on the planet.* Antagonize them at your own risk.
*Except metrosexual males, of course.
From your post I get it that metrosexual men do not beat up women while non-metrosexual men do?
Hell I can’t root for the jets cause they picked up the dog killer.
I don’t care if he did his time.
From your post I get it that metrosexual men do not beat up women while non-metrosexual men do?
I’m pretty much done with professional sports as well - I’m down to golf.
“Nope. Rather, metrosexuals are completely broken lap dogs. They couldnt change a tire.”
Or beat up a women?
I got news for you. Prisons are filled with these "animals" who have used excessive violence. They are lawbreakers who bear the consequences of their actions. They were unable to control their anger and acted in an uncivilized manner. They are locked up or in some cases, put down like the animals they are.
Or beat up a women?
Women ruin lives as often as men do. Some would argure more often. Unfortunately, their methods don’t usually land you in prison. In fact, often the state will empower them.
“I also find it more than a little bizarre that nobody is commenting on the obvious fact that SHE started the domestic violence and HE ended it.”
Like Israel against hamas, he used “disproportionate” force.
And actually AJ Delgado commented on that very thing on Hannity, and got a dose of “progressive violence” in return.

I posted this in another thread so for those of you who may have missed it, here ya go...
“IMO, like many professional athletes, NFL players have been pampered and primped, coddled and spoon fed starting at an early age since they demonstrated some athletic ability sufficient to become winners for what ever team they aspired to. It starts when they are in high school, possibly before. A coach sees some kid with great potential who might help his/her team become winners. The problems begin when said coaches (or others) look the other way, give special favors and do whatever it takes to keep that kid playing on their team. The kids get used to the special treatment and begin to think they are better and more important than others. Hence, they begin to test the waters, flex their muscles of superiority and over time, get to the pros where suddenly they a stars in the publics eye and think they can do no wrong. They have become products of what those who brought them up created, spoiled brats making lots of money. Still believing they can do no wrong, they turn to more serious problems such as drugs, beatings, robbing and even murder. Suddenly they wake up to ask, “What the hell happened? I didn’t do anything wrong”.
I got news for you. Prisons are filled with these “animals” who have used excessive violence.
“Depends on the woman. Self defense can be administered against any attacker, be it human or non, male or female.”
This guy goes against 300 pounders every week and you say he was threatened by a smaller women?
So, the use of potential lethal force is justified?
