I guess I have become jaded, or hardened in my older age but I don’t really give a darn. Many of us American’s wages are stagnant, getting laid off, are struggling to make ends meet, dealing with sick and poor elderly parents, trying to give the occasional help to our kids/grandkids, dealing with the leeches and sponges that are the illegal immigrants, and I’m tired of hearing about other nations peoples wanting our money and resources. After all this time, they still haven’t “lifted themselves up by the bootstraps” but they know they can fall back on our government to dole out the monies they’ve forced from our hand.
In this case, I think Aid to Liberia would be a good idea, an exception to the rule, to help stop Ebola before it becomes known as The Plague That Wiped Out America. It would certainly be more beneficial to us than all the billions that go to the leeches and the sponges.
