If I were an owner, it would be just this type of tone deafness on Goodell's part that would make me want him fired. NOW is not a part of the NFL's fan base, never will be, and to ask their advice is just absurd. He probably asked gaystapo types advice on Michael Sam too. This is not understanding your audience, your customer.
