No, we are trying to kill them. There can be no conversion or imposition of our culture. It is a zero sum game, i.e., them or us.

I would prefer that Obama go to Congress to get authorization just as Bush did. Unfortunately, it appears both parties are not enthusiastic about this, which is a sad commentary on members of Congress who fail to exercise their Constitutional responsibility.
What “national interests” do they threaten? Do you believe the few people in the Obama Regime who say 20,000 guys on monkey bars with video capabilities are a direct threat to CONUS? Only if they cross the border or airspace is that even possible.
Why not go after Boko Haram, who are just as evil, but in a different continent?
