I've witnessed a couple of Facebook meltdowns in real-time following Thursday's speech. Sadly, it appears these people come to some pretty strange conclusions, e.g., corporations got to Obama.

I don't have much hope that this revulsion will lead to a real political awakening. Libs are incapable of seeing reality because all their assumptions about the world and everything in it are wrong.

I had a group conversation with some libs tonight in Louisiana. There’s no arguing with them. Everything I said about BO, they said Republicans do it too or Bush did blah, blah, blah. Big Mary Landrieu supporters, hate the TEA Party. I just kept my mouth shut as I didn’t want to spoil the entire evening and changed the subject. It was distressing. We did however, come to an agreement that many Republicans as well as dems are equally corrupt and self serving.
