Oh really? He assaulted his mother? Then, I have to say, that he got what he deserved. I still miss my mother who died years ago in 1991. An honorable man does not mistreat those who love you the most. A lot of lightskinned, bi-racial black people live their lives in a quandary, not feeling that they belong in either world, and then blaming the caregiving parent for their confusion. Too many of these parents accept the phony ‘blame’ for their child’s confusion and frustration, vs telling them to be grateful for what they have, then move on.
