Theres a new semi-automatic handgun on the horizon for the Army that U.S. consumers may have access to almost immediately. When that happens, Americas emergency rooms better be prepared for the carnage thats likely to follow.
Today, during a so-called industry day, the U.S. Army is briefing arms manufacturers on its requirements for a new handgun, The Atlantic reported yesterday. Several gun makers will compete for the lucrative contract.

Not to mention that if youre using a semi-auto or even a full-auto, those ejected casings can burn a little bit if they happen to find their way down your shirt.Or between the glasses and eyeball.

Yeah lol
He actually still feels bad about that to this day. Even though it didn’t, he says that his disengaging from the firefight at the time COULD have caused some of his guys to die. I suppose that’s true, but you aren’t worth much to your team if you just sit there and burn. lol

Why? Is the Army going to buy some P.O.S. that's likely to blow up? Under Obama ROE and crony "capitalism"?? Are you kidding me? It's probably specced on the RFQ.

Two of the things a grunt learned were, stay away from the RTO and the M-60 operator, they had a tendency to draw fire and thus shorten your life span.

I went to a one day class at Front Sight a few years back and some gal, thinking she was Rambette, came all dressed in black/white/grey camo with a matching tank top. A few 9mm spent casings from an Uzi found their way to an uncomfortable location. ow, ow, ow, ow.

Lets send our soldiers into battle with pointy sticks instead. That's so old fashioned and potentially violent. They need mediation training and how to do community outreach.

You’re right and, in addition, semi-auto handguns have been available since very early in the 20th century... namely, the Browning Hi-Power, the Luger and the Mauser.

What an odd picture. I guess that clown with his cardboard sign doesn’t want to write poetry, learn to play the guitar or paint pictures of bowls of fruit. But what the heck is going on in the background near that blue car? LOL!

Many women and many men think they have to wear a different costume for every activity. Look at all the otherwise masculine seeming men who dress up like exotic insects to go bike riding or wear baggy pajamas to go for a walk.
