#1 The Rascals: People Got to Be FreeThese North Jersey boys loved the blues, and two of them came out of Joey Dees club band in New York. They were produced by Arif Mardin, one of the greats that worked out of Ahmet Erteguns Atlantic Records. There was top-notch talent in Felix Cavaliere, Eddie Brigati, Dino Danelli and Gene Cornish. (Whats he doing in there?)
