That’s bad.. Reminds me of how the Taliban was able to assassinate Ahmad Shah Massoud of Northern Alliance a couple days before the 9/11 attacks. This should be at least a small red flag about potential terrorist attacks in the US.

Reminds me of how the Taliban was able to assassinate Ahmad Shah Massoud of Northern Alliance a couple days before the 9/11 attacks.

It is interesting to note (and Dog may remember) that we had a thread discussing that assassination which was performed by Osama Bin Laden forces a couple of days before 9/11 and noting that the Taliban had named Bin Laden Minister of Defense, Plenipotentiary apparently for services rendered.

That appointment by the Taliban government gave full reason to consider the Taliban government responsible for all acts associated with harboring Bin Laden -- he was acting as their agent.

After Massoud was killed we said momentous events were unfolding there and we were only just seeing the hint of what was to happen in the next couple of days.
