The bargaining is likely between Jeb and Mitt.

If Jeb runs, Mitt won’t, if Jeb has to promise Ryan shares the ticket.

The ticket is now or will be negotiated.

What if Romney, or Bush, ran with Cruz? Hmmmm.
Establishment happy, conservative base happy?

I read where Cruz may be positioning for sharing the ticket as VP. (If only conservatives were capable of raising enough hell to pressure the GOP.)

Cruz would be utterly useless as VP. He would be no more than a show piece for the LeftRepublican President to point at and say see, we're really Conservative!

Republicans are to the Democrats what the SRs were to the Bolsheviks in 1917- going the same direction and serving the real rulers as a convenient whipping boy until their usefulness is deemed to be at an end.
