Initiative-594, the universal background check initiative being bankrolled by millionaires and billionaires in Washington state, will lead to "universal handgun registration" if passed.
Page 2 of the 18-page initiative opens the door to such registration by "extending the requirement for a background check to apply to all gun sales and transfers within the state." This means record keeping, and record keeping means the formation of a database to compile the location of all known guns and the names of all known gun owners.

Hmmm.......I wonder why our would-be masters want to have pistols registered?
Do you have to register something that fell out of the fishing boat or that dropped out of the backpack while hiking the wilderness?
I’m sure it would only be used to help track stolen firearms. Right?
Are you keeping track of the out of staters here in NV that are pushing for a ballot initiative to do the same thing? I’ve already been in contact with our local reps and senators who are Pro 2nd and they are following this closely. I’m not sure how the 101K signatures are gathered from four distinct districts or whatever. Still looking for a breakdown. I’m pretty sure they could easily buy that many in the LV area but I don’t think that’s how it works.

No, I am not..
There’ll be hell to pay when confiscation starts tho.
I only know of 2 sheriffs in the state that were backing the intergalactic background checks during the last session. The Clark county sheriff and the Washoe county sheriff. The Washoe sheriff is not running for re-election in Nov. but he is backing one of his proteges and I’m thinking he’ll probably hold the same line as the current sheriff. So, we aren’t voting for him. Just keep an eye out for these out of staters interfering with NV politics.
Haley isn’t running in Nov?
Nope. Nevada state trooper Chuck Allen vs Tim Kuzanek who is the current “under sheriff” so he gets Haley’s endorsement. I believe that Chuck Allen is the spokesman for the NHP. Haley isn’t running for anything but.........I think his name has been tossed around a little to run against Mark Amodei in the future. Currently he says he’s not interested. Guess more lib/demonkkkrat money needs to get ponied up. I’m not sure who the deputies are supporting.
The 2nd Amendment . . . the only Constitutional right that requires a license to exercise. Yet “rights” like abortion and voting should be accessed without interference.
Same thing here in Nevada.
Keep an eye out for the petition that’s reportedly being circulated to obtain the required 101k signatures to get the initiative on the ‘16 ballot. Haven’t seen anything in Reno yet but I know it’s coming.
“I only know of 2 sheriffs in the state that were backing the intergalactic background checks during the last session. The Clark county sheriff and the Washoe county sheriff. “
You just mentioned the two Shitthole counties in Nevada. It’s sad that Washoe County has turned into a minishitthole when it comes to guns. These two counties are probably the only one’s with rat commie sheriffs too.
> Im sure it would only be used to help track stolen firearms. Right?
WRONG. As a responsible gun owner you should have the serial number written down and stored somewhere safe. IOf your weapon is lost or stolen, only then do you give the details to the agents of the police state.
ping!
I only said that because that would be one of their “selling” points. I know where mine are and they are resting comfortably and not causing a problem whatsoever. I guess I musta forgot the “/s” at the end of my post.
As far as I know they are the only two. I’m sure the under sheriff is of the same mind set here in Washoe so he won’t be getting our vote.
it will be used for cause to invade your home....my advice is use cash for even those special “supplies”....
Dang canoe accidents are getting pretty expensive these days.
