He was not lecturing about Israel. He was pointing out that Jews and Christians alike face constant threats from followers of Islam. Those in the audience who booed him were not there as Christians as much as they were anti-Jewish Arabs. Until their love of self and Christianity overcomes their anti-Semitic hatred of Israel they cannot be helped. He was right to go there and say what he said. He was also right to walk out over the reaction of some of the audience.
I won’t question your honesty about liking Ted Cruz, but this sure sounded like a troll piece.
It wasn’t the time or place for that. I think Cruz is the best hope of the conservative movement within the GOP. Sorry if I kind of, almost, sort of, but not really, touched a 3rd rail.
