Retail salesmen/chicks have to convince a customer that they cannot live without said product. MAybe once upon a time, but not any more. Most of the retail salesholes I have run into in the last twenty years or more don't give a crap unless their on commission and then most haven't got a clue as to what their selling. And instead of cussing, why don't you just make your own burger. Amd if you don't think fast food is sweatshop work you didn't do it for long. And save your squaking, it's obvious that you have no respect for the people in food industry. And I have done Food, retail and construction.

I think a huge problem with modern retail is the awful training provided by the company itself. Throwing young people into working with the general public - without a real knowledge of the business/product - is disastrous.
