For political reasons, Israel has been asked not to participate with the US when we were at war.

WWII...they didn't exist

Korea...they were 3 years old and fighting for their existence

Vietnam...The '67 war was when they were surrounded by Nassar's Arab league

Grenada, Panama: non-war, US regional acts

Gulf I: asked not to participate

Gulf II & Afghan: asked not to participate

However, how do you measure the value of intelligence they've given? How do you measure the value of their nation during the cold war when they were the only friend we had in the area?

So, will Obama ask them to participate in Gulf III?

I suspect some of the intelligence Israel provides us is of negative worth, since Netanyahu is plainly trying to convince us to go to war with Iran, so that Israel doesn’t have to take the losses.

By holding it up against the value of the intelligence they've taken....

Turning a blind eye on a country actively engaged in stealing your secrets is not a good idea.
