Delusional for sure...he sees things like he wishes they were. He projects his “values” on our enemies. I wonder if there is one patriot in the white hut who will ever say: this is what we told him, this is what he said.

His conception of what is mediation is: you agree to my position, no negotiations. Intransigent and adamentine on everything.

I watched his speech, since it was announced as being short. His speech writers strive for rhythm and cadence, but Obama’s delivery was flat; no conviction, because he couldn’t use his campaign mode. The last five minutes cheerleading the American economy was flippant and bizarre. I can’t believe some of these commentators ( Newt, Jonah Goldberg) said it was a fine speech.
