An Obama groupie. No thanks.
was a groupie. now, major buyers remorse
I'll be flamed, but I will also say she is an excellent writer and I enjoy reading her stuff.
Well, I wouldn’t flame you, though I would disagree.
I stopped reading her stuff about ten years ago. And when I found out she supported Obama, well...there are only three choices: That person is ignorant, stupid, or liberal, perhaps all three.
But that person cannot be a conservative. He was (and is) so radical that support for him and conservatism (even of the most liberal stripe) are mutually exclusive 100% of the time.
Wow. I might just go buy some more water and bullets.
What I recall is that she was terribly naive and believed the press's fake version of Obama and was one of those who wished him well, hoping he would have a successful presidency in the sense of bringing peace and prosperity to the country. Just before the election she wrote if he won he would govern like a Clintonesque center -left president. In this forum we were under no such illusions, knowing from the key parts of Obama's story that the guy was a hard core lefty b s ing the country. I agreed with Rush and hoped he would fail because I knew what he was going to attempt.
Well, Peggy and lots of others got their education and are now under no illusions about the guy and his regime.
Argh. I was simply disgusted by her.
Anyone with a conservative bone in their body could look at Obama far before he was elected and understand immediately that he was an enemy of this republic. I sure did. I admit I didn’t take him seriously at all, though.
But I will never understand her wishing him well. Wishing him well is the same as wishing evil on the country you love.
What you say is true. Hell, even the fat slob Moore is angry at him, but IIRC, it is because he hasn’t been radical enough, not because he is doing a poor job.
