This man is a responsible hard working young man, who would be a great catch to some girl. Yet he has no interest. His problem will be (if it isn't already) that by the time he gets serious about a family the "girls" his age that interest him won't have much time left to have a baby. My wife worked in an infertility clinic at Stanford for about seven years. The place was crawling with couples resembling your friend.

Solution: marry a younger woman. If he has lots of women chasing him, he should be able to attract a younger woman when the time comes.
