I'm not sure I understand your post. I hold individual Ukrainians responsible for their crimes, I'm not holding the nation responsible. Nobody in power in Ukraine today volunteered to be an extermination camp guard. Obviously there are many Russians who committed crimes during the Soviet period (and more than a few culpable for crimes today).
MY point was somewhat sarcasm. The original post I was responding to about the ethnic cleansing of the Tatars excused Stalins removal of an entire nation on that very point.
