PLEASE NOTE: I fully understand that World Bulletin dot net is pro-Erdogan, pro-jihadi propaganda. The reason I posted the article was this:

The law bans a number of Islamic religious books that under Ukrainian law were deemed legal.

The Federal List of Extremist Materials was compiled by the Russian Ministry of Justice on July 14, 2007 and contained 1,058 items as of December 25, 2011. Producing, storing or distributing the materials on the list is an offense in Russia.

Some Islamic books that have been banned include the work of popular 20th century Turkish scholar Said Nursi and the famous 'Fortress of the Muslim' book of supplications of the Prophet Muhammad, which was collected by ancient Muslim scholar Saeed bin Ali bin Wahf Al-Qahtani. A certain biography of the Prophet Muhammad is also banned.

At least the Russians, for all their thuggery, do not have a death wish.

~The Crimean Tatars have largely opposed the annexation of Crimea by Russia, fearing a repeat of the events of 1944 when they were completely expelled as part of former Soviet dictator Josef Stalin’s policy.~

It couldn’t have happened if the muzzies weren’t in bed with the Nazi in 1940s.

Behind the Headlines: Who Are the Crimean Tatars?

Some of the children of the deported—raised in Uzbekistan and now adults—have returned to become leaders. Refat Chubarov, head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, the representative body of the Tatars, has called on his people—there are now approximately 300,000 Tatars in Crimea—to peacefully boycott the referendum. Nevertheless, some Crimean Tatars have vowed to oppose secession, with force if necessary. According to Western press reports, some Tatars fighting with the rebels in Syria have offered to return to join the cause.

Not a wise threat imo.

Ruh-roh….now Obama will get upset with the Russians in Crimea. He may change his rule about “no boots on the ground” when the Muslims are threatened.
