Not if he has the marriage annulled first. Under Maryland law, a marriage entered into under coercion or duress can be a candidate for annulment. I just wonder if a marriage that happened under the cloud of indictment for domestic violence qualifies as "duress".

I think she married him too late; he’ll keep most of what he has. She’s only entitled to half of what they make together.

The most disgusting part of this is how light the original penalty was. When they were interviewing Rutgers students (Rice’s alma mater), one black girl said he wasn;t being punished for what he did on the tape - he was being punished because the public saw the tape. She was right.

This is a tough one, pitting victim against victim./s
