I agree. I served four years with an honorable discharge, but if they threw this toward me, I would be AWOL, or, just refuse to obey orders,.

I’d rather be well in the stockade, than be dead from Ebola. It’s not a military mission.

Would it even be a lawful order? I mean, it's one thing to have to fight a human enemy. At least you'd have protective gear and weaponry to protect yourself with. But to be deliberately exposed to a deadly disease without the ability to seriously protect yourself from infection...why that's just plain crazy, and in my opinion unlawful. Not to mention the potential of bringing the disease back home to infect others? I'd tell Obama to go pound salt.

This would be a totally reasonable excuse to become a conscientious objector. Certainly the liberal aging hippies running this country would understand.
