“They did. We call it The Big Bang.”
I like it. I don’t believe it - but I like the idea. Would make a great ending to a movie.

Hawking embarrassed himself something fierce when he came out with his idiotic “m-verse” theory. And Einstein was right - the quantum physicists are mistaken, at least so far. Maybe they’ll go back and rework the math, but maybe not. The hubris of scientists is all too well known.

I can see that. Some astro-archaeologist has found evidence (forget it, Jake, it’s Hollywood!) of the civilization that did it last time and is rushing to stop the experiment. Which of course was taken control of by some hard headed general who won’t allow anyone to interfere. But some mad evolutionist is on the general’s team and he knows what’s going to happen and wants it to because he thinks the universe needs a re-boot. (Because of evil white men and hard headed generals and such.) The evolutionist convinces the general that the archaeologist is the psycho and those two are the arch enemies throughout the film. Both the first and last scenes of the movie are the same stupendous CGI rendering of the Big Bang.
