This is BS IMO. The meteorite would have been hotter’n ‘H’ as it cut through the grasses, and they, and the trees would have been burned/scorched by the hot flaming object had it come from outer space. I see no indication of heat in anything that would have been touched by, or close to the super heated object.

The Earth appeared to be freshly dug up by some machine opposed to impact of a large object at high speed. So NO I don’t buy this at all.

Yup.

From the size of the crater it is possible to approximately calculate the size of the object and the energy it releases.

When a large object hits, it creates an effect not unlike a Bomb, in this case a very small one, only without radioactivity.

Though I guess it wouldn’t be impossible to have a meteorite that contained radioactive materials.
