Ok, ugh!

Someone produces the food, someone packages it, someone stores it, someone ships it, someone distributes it, someone sells it, someone serves it, someone records the distribution and someone cleans it up

They ALL get paid

It IS NOT FREE

If a mom were to get up and put some leftovers or a little rice and beans into a recyclable covered dish, then it would be practically free, but it is not free

And if my kids did not report that the kids on the “free meal” deal were the ones with the best phones and iPods it would not be as galling

But it IS NOT FREE!

I did have to mention to one wit that was commenting about 'free food' that it was 'no cost' to them, but the food damn sure wasn't free.
