Time will tell. Roberts is none too popular for all the reasons that Wolf brought out in the primary. Plus there is still a significant base of more moderate Republicans in the east that could go for Orman. Don't forget, Dennis Moore didn't win 5 terms in Congress on Democrats alone. The idea of those voters going for Orman over Roberts is not that far-fetched.
All Roberts needs to do is remind voters of Orman’s support and campaign contributions to BHO mentioned in the above article.
Orman is a proxy for the Dems in this race and proxy for BHO. It could not be more clear than that.
