Have you seen the Tesla vs Aston Martin Rapide drag race? Most people simply cannot fathom the concept that an electric car is beating a 12 cylinder conventional car -- electric cars in the past have been so disappointing -- but the technology in the Tesla is very interesting.
- FREE charge at any Tesla SuperStation (does any car manufacturer offer FREE gas?)
- Battery swap planned for some locations in under 90 seconds.
- Standard range 260+ miles on a single charge. The actual record (depending on how the car is driven, terrain, etc) is over 400 miles.
- With the added bonus that it can beat an Aston Martin and is cheaper than it.
- Made in the USA.
- American ingenuity, American capitalism at its best.
Actually, I've decided to lay of the Tesla lists due to the massive misinformation. That's cool that others think the Tesla is worse than a Yugo or that Elon Musk is pulling a fast one -- means I've got less competition for my spot in the charging station.

Actually, I've decided to lay of the Tesla lists due to the massive misinformation No, you just hyped it again. Battery change in 90 seconds? Sure. Last time you said the record range was 500 miles, now you say 400. And nobody else cares about your relatives Teslas or Aston Martins.

How long does a set of batteries last, and how much do they cost. Same question about traction motors...what is the service interval on the brushes, and who does the work?
