It perfectly illustrates the point of people staying quiet to protect their own turf. It’s not the only example but it is a very clear example to point to
When all the actors are revealed and punished.

Actually, it illustrates the problem here as well as in the UK.
When a class of people is protected allowed to rape, things get rather messed up.
Penn State should have faced a much stiffer penalty than the minor slap on the wrist they received. But Football triumphed over the rule of law.
