Monday at the Laborfest event in Milwaukee, President Barack Obama gave a passionate speech in his plea for fair wages for workers. At a raised pitch, he said, "I´m not asking for the moon. I just want a good deal for the workers." The president also discussed his "vision for an economy," where workers have a fair chance, retirement benefits, family leave and pay equality for woman.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
If you like your moon, you can keep your moon. PERIOD.
Spoken from a man that has never run a business and had to meet payroll. He’s an idiot. Our next president needs to be a businessman.
“...family leave and pay equality for woman.”
Mrs. RQSR says “then start at the WH where you pay the women less, far less than the men.”
I say “please do ask for the moon”
PoS dictator wannabe. Prolly wishes to go full Stalin on all dissenters.

Then rescind Obamacare. And after that resign. Most things will automatically get better.
(I was playing online poker a few months back and there was a player who had the screen-name “Nachumlist”. Always wondered if it was you...)
“fair wages” are the wages a worker can command in the marketplace, based on his or her qualifications, skills, and diligence.
I personally support continuation of a “minimum wage” as a social mechanism, but every time the minimum wage is increased, more people are laid off (and far more indeed are never hired...as the supply of new jobs is driven down by the increased costs of doing business)
This is ESPECIALLY a bad time to try to increase the minimum wage or any other costs of doing business....
when we have record, all-time numbers of Americans without work
I want to call him out on this liberal myth about unequal pay for women.
The Equal Pay Act of 1963 outlaws paying women less if doing the same job as a man.
If women are really being paid less than men in the same job, then where are all of the lawsuits?
In other words, if Obama is right that females are being paid less, then he and Eric Holder already have all the legal toolsd at their disposal to battle against this discrimination, if it really exists.
I would love to ask the president and liberals what they plan to do about this alleged problem, since the law is already on their side. We don’t need to pass any more laws or issue executive orders on this subject.
I think its just a cheap throwaway line in a speech to say he favors equal pay for women, and act as if there aren’t already laws on the books covering this topic.
The hell he is!
“At a raised pitch, he said,”...
So he used his little girl voice? Fitting
As Reagan often said
These clowns are so out of touch with the rank-and-file
Not too many Nachumlists out there :)

“Fair chance,” “equal pay”—how could ANYONE be against those things? They sound so reasonable! So, so reasonable...
Time for a body slam.
Where is the GOPe? Who will step up? Nope, not going to happen,
Getting their check from the lobbyist. Hands are tired endorsing all those pay offs.
Lazy bastards, all need to be out.
Mocha Mullah: G.F.Y.
Democrats always run on raising the minimum wage when they’ve totally messed up the economy.
"How about Fantasyland?"
