Any day now Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton will be coming to Ottowa to protest. Obama will go on national TV to demand Eric Holder go to Ottowa to find out why the teen's civil rights were violated. Right!? Crickets.

“Why did it take them shooting him 16 times at least for them to bring him down...”
9mm rounds perhaps.

Not Canada. This is from Kansas. Ottawa is a farm community just south of Kansas City. Personal experience with Franklin County police is that they have some very major anger issues.

The weird kid committed suicide by cop and the family wants to complain as if they were totally out of the loop?! What arrogance!!
To: GilGil
Maybe the cops mistook him for a dog?

It’s ok, as long as they yelled “He’s coming right at me!” each time.

Oops! There should be a law against this. I feel like Archie Bunker when on his job he shipped some stuff to London, England not knowing about London in Canada. He was fired!

I'm confused. Did they use just bean bags, or also lethal rounds, since he "was treated at the scene for gunshot wounds and transported to an Ottawa hospital where he later died."
Silly me, ever since Watergate, j-schools have been producing useful idiots that can't tell a rubber bullet from an ear plug.
(Then there's the "suicide by cop" angle...)

We aren’t in Kansas anymore Toto, we are in Ottawa Kansas.

Archie Bunker ...
IIRC, he didn't get a Christmas bonus that year...

Smith's husband also tried to help."My husband was going to tackle him. He was within arms reach. They said to get back or they were going to shoot him," Smith said.
Smith says her husband backed off and police attention turned back to Jennings
The fellow is going to regret until his dying day that he didn't ignore the hysterical police.
