While I wouldn't fault anyone for rejecting UAW built products, it's different with the Dems, because they and the UAW are supposed to be political allies. Funny how that allegiance ends when it's time to drop money for a high priced item such as a car.
My late brother in law retired from Ford about ten years ago. For years he would drive Oldsmobiles (Cutlass Supremes). They kept getting stolen for parts. He asked what vehicles were least stolen and the insurance agent said Volvos.
He worked for Fords but had nothing but contempt for the company. Yes, he was a true-blue liberal.
