Well, let’s see. African-American Black guy wants to see what Conservatives are like. Goes to a Baptist church and finds a receptive attitude. Okay. He likes it. Is invited to a Republican function. ‘s okay. Comes to Free Republic. See’s knuckle-draggers putting down, subtly and not-subtly, his race all over the site. (Or what does the use of Amish mean? And the obvious and unrestrained anger and hatred found in the writings of some Freepers toward Black Americans, especially the numerous go-back-to-Africa-if-you-don’t-like-it posts. And if you doubt me, just watch the responses to this post.)
I guess we should pander to ethnic/racial groups.
In the process we should also just ignore the fact that blacks make up 12% of the population, commit 65% of all crimes, make up 39% of the welfare rolls, and 95% of voting blacks vote lock-stock-and-barrel for democrats that massively transfer wealth from people that do work and have jobs to those that don't.........all on the off chance that one small fraction of that 12% of the population may eventually find their way to FR.
I would much rather we find a conservative candidate that runs on conservative values with the American Dream available to anyone willing to work for it regardless of skin color than to pander to this group or that.
If someone like you mentioned does wander their way to FR, I hope they read my post and then they ask their self whether they want to be associated with the 95% that vote for laziness and freeloading, or if they have some self respect and principles. - That decision is theirs, not mine.
Sometimes you do have to call it like is, whether it hurts or not. And if telling the truth makes me a knuckle-dragger then so be it.
