The re-election campaign of U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has gained momentum in the last month, propelled by huge leads over Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes in Western and Eastern Kentucky and among men, according to a new Bluegrass Poll.
With less than 10 weeks until Election Day, the poll of 569 likely voters shows McConnell with a 4-point lead over Grimes, up from a 2 point margin a month ago. McConnell now leads Grimes 46 percent to 42 percent...

How many mosks in your state? How many (Mexican) ISIS cells are in your state. What city in your state will likely be hit with a dirty bomb or VX gas attack?...Will they hit NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles first...or all at the same time?
Probably because you don't know. Do your shopping early, September 11th is coming right up.
And YOUR brand is what?
What’s that again?
Never heard of em.
I defended the standard American English spelling.
But you go on a riff/fantasy about attacks. You won't get any votes with that, but it seems satiate you.
/johnny
That's been true since the days of Trent Lott and Bill Frist.

I mean to see liberal republicans politically destroyed.
A proper party with a clean brand will arise when the time is right. The Pubs replaced the Whigs pretty quickly when folks got fed up enough.

The GOP Ruling Class LIKES what Obama and his ilk are doing - which is why they run interference for him and for Reid and play political games to create an illusion that they are an opposition party when they help enable it.
Is there something really hard there to understand about the value of an established party?
I guess for a party hack, it's really hard for you to understand the value of principles and Liberty.
For you, this is just a game. Statistics, strategy, tactics.
You play the game as it has been rigged for you to play it, and like the Soviets we buy the illusion we have a choice when the Ruling Class has corrupted the system beyond redemption.
The Republican Party itself is just as responsible for getting this country to this point every bit as much as the Democrats and MarxoFascists have, and when anyone rises to challenge the status-quo - they are beset upon for demonization and destruction if they do not relent and play ball.

That's kind of an offensive "anti-Semitic" slur ain't it?
What are ya some kinda Illinois Nazi, or Klan, or something?
Time for a clean slate.
I'm ok with ignoring the Greek Chorus of doom in the background.

Collaborators are collaborators, regardless of what you call them, even if the name is historically correct and properly used.
I like the appellation "Gang of 8" that liberal republicans in the Senate used to advance the liberal agenda.
You do remember them? Right?
/johnny
Well that's a steaming pile.
The elected RINOs and wimpy conservatives are responsible for the mess, the voters have written conservative platforms.
That's two markedly different groups of people at opposite ends of the scale.
You're placing blame on them for something they don't deserve.
How many are left?
Right, the RATs and the RATagandists will smear them just as quickly as they crop up, just like Dan Quayle, Reagan, Newt, Herman Cain, Sarah Palin, the TEAparty, etc etc etc.
And Lindsey Graham, and Marco Rubio.
You do know that there was more than one gang of 8, right? And then there was a gang of 14.....
The collaborators just don't stop. But you support them. They have an (R).
/johnny
/johnny
When they go around demanding that people vote for the (R), no matter what, yeah... they own it.
It takes more than writing a platform. It takes the moral courage to run the liberal bastards off.
/johnny
Whaddaya mean they can't win? You just rattled off the number 14.
Some states can give you conservative Senators, some can't even elect RINOs. It's all about the cityRATs, college freaks and union-thugs. The House is completely different.
Senators are there for at least 6 years, so sometimes you just have to work with what you got, and hope strong conservatives can prevail in caucus.
That's what pissed off McConnell and Cornyn so bad when Cruz broke ranks and defied the Senate Democrats and the senate republican leadership.
That just isn't done. A narrative had been established, and Cruz screwed it up for the liberals. Both D & R.
/johnny
It takes the moral courage to let the same people who wrote the platform, elect their own nominee....not the general public...RATs included.
