Any show with a Kardashian in it has to be #1 or #2

You can’t have Nancy Grace on that list without including Jane Velez-Mitchell and Dr. Drew On Call.

Fox & Friends (Fox News)

That show would have serious sponsorship problems if they lost Nutrisystems.

Fox & Friends is ALWAYS in a commercial when I turn them on.
I don't know what restrictions (if any) the FCC has on cable commercial time, but I wouldn't be surprised if Fox is over 30 minutes per hour.
Oh, and the majority of "news" time is spent cooking outside in the plaza.

I can remember when they sold cable in the late 1970s with the promise of no commercials. After all you were paying for the service, whereas over-the-air programming was free and HAD to have commercials.
Pffft.

Media Buzz with Howard Kurz belongs on this list. An awful program. Who cares what the lamestream media is buzzing about? Fox news is useless on Sunday. Kurtz makes it worse.

None, if I recall correctly.
But here’s my theory as to what MIGHT be going on for those commercial-laden shows:
The radio and TV powers-that-be might have figured out that they can cram more commercials into a program when most listeners/views are too busy to change the channel. Hence, a morning show on radio or TV — when many audience members are driving to work or eating breakfast — may have more commercials, simply because it’s too much trouble for us to change channels when driving or eating!

I'm sure you're right. My solution is that I just don't watch them anymore.

Another commercial that really sticks in my craw is The Wounded Warrior Project and it’s on all Fox programs. That organization has been granted a non-profit status even though their board of executives and CEO are raking in the dough.
Selling pity is very profitable.

Wounded Warriors Project A Legal Scam.

I love Media Buzz. It’s a bunch of Media folks discussing the media and all the prejudices and errors brought to each story each week.
No wonder other media outlets hate it. No one likes being taken to the woodshed.

I turn on the new NewsMax channel often just for background chatter, it’s okay. If we got the Blaze on DirectTV, I don’t think we do, I would turn that on. Overnight, NewsMax TV came on out of nowhere, it’s not perfect but it’s fairly lowkey, Michael Reagan and others are on it.
To: BeadCounter
NewsMax is channel 349 on DirectTV for anyone interested.
