Do you not wish for Christians to pray to God that she be healed?
In case you missed out on comparative religions in college, Christians belive that Jesus is God Almighty. That is the fundamental tenet of the Christian faith.
If we pray to God that she become closer to God through a healing, then we are praying that she “come to Jesus”.
It’s not a secret language. It’s our Fundamental belief.
Joan Rivers has led her whole life as an active Jewish woman. To say what was said at the end of her life, and dismissing an entire belief system is insulting and disrespectful. You call it whatever you want. I’m done.
You do realize that from a Jewish perspective Stars and Stripes forever is praying for Joan Rivers to commit apostasy by worshipping a blasphemer who proclaimed himself to be God. What could someone do that is worse than pretending to be God and the misleading countless people to follow him, many of whom turned around and persecuted and murdered Jews over the course of thousands of years?
Don’t you think another Jew just might find that abhorrent? How would you feel if somebody started out their prayer asking you to accept Barack Obama as your Lord and Savior? Well, from a Jewish perspective is it unreasonable to think that asking for someone to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior just might be even worse than that?
