there are two camps - those who believe in the existence of Ebola and those who think that the epidemic is imported. Is this what passes for logic in the minds of the Guinea rioters, or just in the mind of the journalist? The epidemic could be both real and imported (originate elsewhere).

I would suspect chlorine bleach would kill the Ebola virus. The Catch 21 is that chlorine bleach will kill the virus outside ones body but it will kill the body if used inside the body.

Bring Out Your Dead

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
