Much the same here. I'm not female and don't jog/run much any more. But when I did it was usually after 11:00 PM and often after midnight as that was when the south Florida heat was just beginning to be bearable.

Lost count of the times I'd be hit with a police helicopter spotlight while on my run. Never did figure out what one was suppose to do... stop and put hands up? keep running? I usually just stopped, looked up at the spotlight, shrugged and resumed my jog.
