Why would Russia want to join NATO and start taking orders from the US? Russia is much the wiser to defend itself than to rely on NATO. It would never survive. Consider public opinion and reading all the stuck in the mud Russia bashing being posted on FR and world wide.

They don't deserve it. They left east Europe,dumped communism, became a democracy only to have a country on it's border having yearly Nazi parades.

The politicians in Brussels destroyed Yugoslavia which was taking on their Islamists. What did Milosevic ever do to us, to die a prisoner for taking on the Islamists in his country?

The hoops you have to jump through to join NATO, like embracing homosexuality, same sex marriage and other anti conservative values. The ideology of the west is headed the wrong way. I see Russia as a balance to it all.

Regardless of anyone’s opinion on Russia, the above is some powerful truth to chew on. The EU and OUR own Govt at the time sold their souls in that decision. Unforgiveable.

The EU is a different type of evil. And anyone who can’t handle that and falls back to crying Ruskie is a complete fool. No different than those who worship Obama - blind is blind.
