Putin and his Putinistas are really mad that the Ukrainians have destroyed so many Lenin statues. KGB Putin considers this “blasphemy” against the Soviet god Lenin.
Actually when the people threw off the yoke of the old regime in Ukraine Putin sounded like peace was still possible, until the Lenin statues came down.
Of course I think he planned his Novorossiya all along.
