Agreed. It would have to be an ORDER from the beast himself and a worldwide order at that. Every man, woman and child would be affected. As it stands right now, there is no beast or “statue” which is ruling the planet. No one person has come forward and brought actual lightning or fire from the sky with the wave of his hand without the aid of a machine.(Rev.13:13). I believe though that Islam will play a major role in the last days.

I believe you are absolutely correct on the aspect of alteration. However, I do believe we ARE there yet.
Gene therapy is a reality... and implantable chips are a primary method of delivery.
Is the medical rfid the mark? probably not by itself... but every major tech deployment goes through it’s live testing phase, and there is no question in my mind that the actual mark is undergoing very rigorous final stage testing as we speak.

I think you’re reading a little too much into it; the Bible doesn’t use the word “permanent” in it’s description of it, plus it won’t need to be “permanent,” as there will only be around 3 1/2 years to have it before the Lord comes back to set up His kingdom on this earth. There is also the possibility that this refers to Israel and those aligned with and helping her during this time.
The act of accepting it (the chip or tattoo) is the Mark of the Beast. Whether it is removed at some point is irrelevant. The fact that you initially accepted it and took Satan’s path and rejected the gift of everlasting life is the indelible Mark of the Beast.
