I live 60 miles from the border. We went across the border about 5 years ago for a few hours, and decided to never go again. It is a pity. When I was a kid, visiting Mexico was a fun thing to do. Now? Dirty, the streets smelled of urine, and nothing to do with my family.
It is what Obama wants the entire USA to become...

Went to Mexico in 1991. Walked across at San Ysidro on a trip to San Diego, just to say I was in Meh-i-co.
What a hellhole on the other side of the border.
I lasted 15 minutes. Told my wife we are out of here and walked back to the border station. When I got through to the US, I was never so happy in my life.
Guess things have not changed.
