President Obama was referring only "to military options for striking" Islamist militants in Syria when he said the White House did not "have a strategy yet,” press secretary Josh Earnest insisted Thursday.
The White House launched a full-court media press to clarify the president’s comments after the media and Republicans seized on the admission.
He added that Obama "was asked a specific question about what approach he was going to pursue about possible military action in Syria."
The White House spokesman said Obama had for months described a "comprehensive strategy" to deal with the threat posed by terrorists from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), who have established a foothold in both countries

Bush was not a perfect president but I love that guy. He is an essentially decent man. He aspires to be, and he is.

Is a reminder of Benghazi. First story didn’t make sense and was proven a lie from the obama crowd. The obama crowd must have had trouble finding a film to vindicate their lies or ... Our Military has done the right thing and told the obama crowd to sit down and shut up and NO, We are not sharing the plan!
So he was referring to tactics when he said ‘strategy’? Kind of a stupid mistake, no?

Really? What is THAT strategy pray tell?
Sun Tzu did state you should keep your enemy off balance. They must think you are strong when you are weak. Think you are weak when you are strong. That would mean you would want them to think you are smart when you are stupid. And of course stupid when you are smart. No one would be dumb enough to state they had no plan, if they actually had no plan. Come on now... He has a plan. Called government shutdown. Brilliant in its simplicity.
Texas would like one considering the terror threat at their border.
I would like to hear someone from the Whitehouse press corp ask Earnest who tells him what to say, when he tells everyone that they misinterpreted Obama’s direct remarks. He wouldn’t answer with the truth, but it would point out one of the real questions here. Who is actually deciding Whitehouse foreign policy? Valerie Jarrett? George Soros? Mork from Ork?
