This article stated that the West Point quarantine is supposed to be lifted in 21 days. Huh? Do they really think all will be well after that time frame. If anything, the disease will have been even more widespread.
Yep, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if Patient A is infected on Day 1, then when he infects patient B on Day seven of his(A’s) illness, and then Patient B develops symptoms on Day 12 of his own exposure and infects Patient C who develops symptoms on Day 7 of his own exposure that it will just keep on like a chain of dominoes in so many different directions. Danger for many, many more days than just twenty one.
Why are those in power not smart enough to extrapolate this? Or are they, and maybe they want to toss the hoi polloi a bone just to make it look like they are making some effort to contain the spread of the disease.
