The day after Mitt Romney opened the door to another possible presidential run, a new poll shows he has a huge lead among likely 2016 Iowa Republican caucus voters.
According to a USA Today/Suffolk University poll released Wednesday, 35 percent of likely GOP caucus voters would vote for the 2012 GOP nominee in 2016. When Romneys name was added to the pool, no other candidate received double-digit votes.

The media and talking heads are again trying to appoint a dead loser as our 2016 Republican presidential candidate. They do this every election cycle as they hate conservative Republicans and want the liberal Democrat candidate to have an easy victory.
Don’t fall for this. Back someone like Ted Cruz and don’t let others choose our candidate.
More strong evidence that Iowa is no longer an accurate primary tuning fork for conservatism.
The good ole boys can’t come up with anyone better??? If they don’t its going to end up being Hillary 2016.
The poll is bullcr*p but it does point out how ridiculous it is to give Iowa and New Hampshire so much influence. The Pubbie party should award the first primary to a state that voted for the Republican candidate in the last election, perhaps by random choice or some other method. The last time IA voted Republican was 2004, New Hampshire 2000 and noth states are trending strong RAT recently.
Iowa and New Hampshire may refuse to accept the national party rules and have their primaries anyway but the Party can refuse to admit their delegates to the convention.
Run, Willard, Run!!
Because not really wanting to be the president, and losing to prove it, is the best argument he should be president?
No RINOmney.
Not now.
Not EVAH!
Christie is huffin and puffin at THIRD!!!!!
The Establishment Republicans prefer Democrat Presidents.
Iowa has voted precisely once for the GOP Presidential nominee since after 1984. They should have as much say in who the party nominates as Rhode Island or Massachusetts.
Well you know Mitt wants another go at it. He thinks he won in 2012 and it got stolen. He’s prolly right. Its got to eat at him night and day. I hate to say it but I think he’s going to run and if he does its going to mess things up for Ted Cruz and Rick Perry.
No to Romney. Hasnt he lost enough already?
Why get all riled up over something uncertain that’s way in the future?
You’re welcome. It’s all very sickening and there is no use in getting sick over something like that.
I
will
not
vote
for
Mitt
Romney
under
any
circumstances.
Whatever.
Not “riled-up”...just sayin’. No to Romney...no to Rinos.
I understand.
But nobody is going to be able to fix this mess. Nobody.
I aim to politically destroy all liberal republicans and ensure they never win a single election again.
Run Romney and lose, but you were told that last election and didn't listen.
