Poll: Romney breaks away in Iowa

The day after Mitt Romney opened the door to another possible presidential run, a new poll shows he has a huge lead among likely 2016 Iowa Republican caucus voters.

According to a USA Today/Suffolk University poll released Wednesday, 35 percent of likely GOP caucus voters would vote for the 2012 GOP nominee in 2016. When Romney’s name was added to the pool, no other candidate received double-digit votes.

Rita, I confess that I was so angry with Perry being indicted by the clown car prosecutor of the infamous Travis County, that I was actually regarding Perry as a possible fall back candidate. Your post changes my mind. Gardasil/Mexican Superhighway/Haley Boss Hogg Barbour. Any one of those three is a disqualification.

Oh good, then the end of the GOP is nigh because the Massachusetts Mittwit won't be elected in 2016 either. In fact, the number of totally fed up conservatives grows daily. The GOP can start to nominate candidates worthy of conservative votes or it can die and go straight to hell.
