Surely you jest. Kansas is no where near “Conservative”. Kansas is Moderate at best. The *electorate* in Kansas is conservative. The Republicans whom the state party and the good ol' boy network chooses for them vote for generally are not.

When was the last time the “electorate” in Kansas chose a Conservative Republican? Names like Kassenbaum, Dole and Roberts do not “ring out” Conservative to me.
