Walk into the diner with a large crowd, ask for the manager, then tell them exactly why you and your group are going to eat at the restaurant across the street

If I ever go through Vermont again, I’ll go out of my way to avoid that screwed up diner!Go a few miles north and eat at Junior's. There's also one in Burlington. In addition to great pasta, they serve sandwiches with ham and bacon as well as spinach-bacon salads.
