Why do liberals think parents “send their kids” to war????? You must be an adult to sign up for service, not a kid. The parents don’t make that decision! But no one ever questions them when they spew this bogus claptrap.
This type of question is always asked by left-wing university types with whom I work, when the subject of war comes up (asking if I supported Afghanistan or Iraq). I call it the “catechism of the left”: “Would you support the war if your child (Note) were sent to fight it?
My question in response always stops them: “Which one?”
