I saw a heck of a lot of construction going on in Toronto when I visited this summer.
I don’t think I’ve seen that much construction going on in a city since Washington DC in the days of Lyndon Johnson.

Toronto? You mean Seattle? If so, yes, it's huge, much of it having to do with amazon expansion. It's so bad that most locals stay away if they can. Driving in that South Lake Union area is an absolute nightmare of construction noise, closed streets, dug-up streets, detours, one-way streets, and vanishing landmarks. People are becoming angry because amazon and the other businesses in that area hire rent-a-cops to stop traffic while their parking garages empty out.

I saw a heck of a lot of construction going on in Toronto when I visited this summer. Me too, and the traffic was nuts, and this wasn't even during Rush Hour.
